Hangover Square, Earls Court - London walks & Inspiration

A recent ramble around Earls Court, west London. Partly retracing the steps of the character George Harvey Bone in the novel Hangover Square by Patrick Hamilton. Unsure if it's the exact location but Earls Court Square could be where the protagonist resided. Although an expensive area to live in now, I can still picture George's intoxicated endeavours around the pubs and boarding houses of darkest Earls Court just before the second world war. More blog posts involving my London rambles and literature to follow. Usually with a T-Shirt commemorating the mood of the walk such as the Hangover Square top listed on the website currently.
